When your current deal ends, it’s the perfect time to review your options. We’ll compare rates across the market to make sure you’re not paying more than you need to. Whether you want to lower your monthly payments, borrow more, or release equity, we’ll make the process smooth and simple.

Taking your first step onto the property ladder is a big milestone. We’ll explain deposits, schemes, and affordability in plain English — no jargon, no judgement. From agreement in principle to collecting your keys, we’ll be by your side, making sure you feel confident every step of the way.

Business Owner Mortgages

Running your own business often means your income isn’t as straightforward as someone on a salary. At Hug Mortgages, we get that. We’ll take the time to understand your unique situation and find the right mortgage solution to suit you.

Self-Employed & Freelance Mortgages

If you’re self-employed or freelancing, you still have access to the same mortgages as everyone else—whether you’re buying your first home, moving, or investing. The only difference is how lenders check your income, and we’re here to guide you through that process.

Buy to Let Mortgages

Thinking about investing in rental property? Whether you’re buying your first buy-to-let or looking to remortgage, we offer flexible solutions to help landlords make it happen.

Some forms of Buy to Let Mortgages are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Real stories. Real peace of mind.

Our customers trust us with the most important things in their lives. Here’s what they say:

"Honestly the BEST service ever! Dealing with a very outdated mortgage (which was wildly expensive) a name change, change of profession/earnings, adding a spouse & many other obstacles, none of which were a problem."

Carrie

"Our fixed rate was up at the beginning of October. We dealt with Vesta (Hug Mortgages) before and they got us a brilliant fixed rate last time. And of course they did it again. Great and friendly and are at the end of the phone no matter what questions you have to ask."

Julie

"In all honesty, Rachel has relieved so much stress by securing me and my partner a re-mortgage, I cannot recommend Rachel enough. I could not have done this by myself so having Rachel there to do all the hard, dirty work for us was a blessing. She was helpful and knowledgeable all the way through. She worked tirelessly to secure us a mortgage when we were certain it could not be done. You have saved us both a huge amount of money per month and saved us so much stress, Thank you!"
